2) Not sure. I remember loving the Stevie Diamond series back when I was a bub, and not sleeping all night after scaring myself sh*tless reading Harry Potter two when I was about 7.
3) Stevie Diamond and Harry Potter, as above, plus al things Tamora Pierce. I went through a horsey phase for about a year and read lots of Lucy Daniel, and there was this one book called Tajore Arkle which I swear I've read about a thousand times.
4) In my teens, I've read a bit of everything. Mostly fantasyish, mostly with female protaganists, but I try not to read the same thing all the time. Still Tammy, but also Trudi Canavan, Sharon Shinn, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison and Libba Bray
5) N/A
6) Right now I'm reading Ho Voglia Di Te (Federico Moccia) which is pretty rubbish, to be honest, but very Italian. Your standard teenage love story about a boy and a girl too different who fall in love, yadda yadda, but very very famous in Italy.
7) Yup
8) Yes, but I get a bit impatient if it's only romantic (the romance isn't just a part of the whole) and they don't have any decent sex scenes.
9) Yeah. Laurell K. Hamilton, Louise Rennison, Federico Moccia
10) Yeah, but none particularly come to mind right now. Although I've always hated Hamlet, so maybe that counts. He's such a *whiner*
11) I write teenage feminist fantasyish stuff, generally with a dash of romance.
12) "When I die, I want it to be said, his sins were scarlett but his books were red" - Hilaire Belloc. Recalling from memory here, so that may not be 100% right.
