I was having the damnedest time trying to think of an amazing kiss that happened in an actual published book, and not in fan fiction. Then I opened GoodReads and had a major *duh* moment. A book I recently finished, For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison, had an AWESOME kiss scene. This one single kiss has been built up through the four previous books in the [Hollows] series, and now that it has finally happened, it was perfect! Sadly, it seems that it will be a one-off, but it was enough to make me happy.

I realize that I didn't talk much about the kiss itself, but a) I don't want to spoil it, in hopes that someone else I know will take a liking to the series and I'll have someone to talk about it with, and b) I found it impossible to adequately describe it without the set-up for it, and that would take four novels. So I'll just sum it up by saying the anticipation leading to it was superb, and the execution was equally superb. Basically, Harrison got it right.
